Researcher, a Ph.D. candidate in the Graduate Program of Biological Sciences (Botany) of IB-USP (2017-current), won a scholarship at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (RBG-Kew, UNITED KINGDOM). Landscape architect and urban planner, bachelor’s degree from FAUUSP (2007), and Biologist, Bachelor’s degree from IBUSP (2015) with sandwich graduation from the University of Reading and internship at RBG-Kew. Work in the areas of Historical Patrimony and Landscape Architecture. Marcelo has been collaborating with Patrícia Akinaga’s office in São Paulo since 2007 as a designer, project manager, and thinker. He develops scientific research in the floristic fields of rock areas in the Taxonomy and Systematics Laboratory of the Botany Department of IBUSP. Marcelo was a fellow of the REFLORA project, working on the collection digitalization of the Herbarium SPF (2016). Also, he works in scientific dissemination with the production of scientific illustrations, infographics, and animations.
