The park is the result of a Conduct Adjustment Term (TAC). The park is an infill resulted from the dredging of the Tietê River. The park is located at the Carapicuíba lagoon. For 11 years, the project involved a multidisciplinary team, public agencies. In 2006, after project completion, it was awarded the IAB-SP Carlos Milan Award. The park has a complete leisure structure, playful and interpretive spaces on the Tietê River, venues for shows and observation of the lagoon, and pavilions for the use of residents and visitors.
